About You
This was a fantastic experience, I had high expectations before the programme and it was more intensive than I expected it to be for being a two day workshop - all in all a great learning experience
We were all made to feel very comfortable at the event and they encouraged to ask questions and such - even though it was only a two day event we got to know the trainee recruitment fairly well
They gave support whenever requested to and were eager to guide us with any necessary information and answer our numerous questions - they answered in an open and frank manner which was great
whilst the knowledge was not directly related to my subject degree - however skills sessions such as teamwork and presentation will always be useful in the future and so was learning about the market
The Company
Very well structured - lots of activities, presentations and networking was combined with meal times therefore maximising the exposure of the firm to the students, as mentioned it was quite intensive
friendly
They not only took the time to host presentations and got employees to network with us they also had a session with a body language expert on how to network successfully - this was interesting and useful
The group activity helped discuss what type of work was involved with at Deloitte but I would have liked greater exposure to the different departments and facilities at the firm - this would have been beneficial
speaking to the employees really helped your understanding of their experiences at the firm and why they were attracted to the firm in the first place and how it will help them reach their personal goals
It was valuable in providing an overview of the firm and seeing the firm and its people to decide whether this firm, its atmosphere and culture was right for you - I had a great time and will be reapplying...
Everything Else
Whilst we could ask questions throughout the day there was a networking dinner which was a good opportunity to meet various employees around the firm - good opportunity to make connections
good fun
briefly = mainly sports
Yes, definitely they managed to fit a lot into a two day event and it was a great opportunity to meet like minded people even though their was a range of different applicants studying various subjects
