The Role
It was a good placement and learnt many useful things about the business and how to work in one.
I felt very valued chairing many meetings and representing the department in others
Managers very willing to help and answer any questions as well as finding projects that were more to your interest.
Usually too busy to stop most of the time but only sometimes rushed off my feet
I felt very valued chairing many meetings and representing the department in others. I both led and supported major projects.
Unfortunately the majority of what I have learnt will not help me in my degree studies but it will help me in the work place in after graduating
The Company
Good working atmoshpere but light hearted relief. Lots or cakes
Two seperate placements in two areas but not great on the organisisation of these placements
Several training sessions including first aid, company values, simulated work enviroment, product appriciation and visit to another facility.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Good path onto graduate programme with prospects to advance further
The Culture
Majority of placements were good laugh and sociable. meeting up most weeks for a night out of trip to the pub. Plus Orange wednesdays in the cinema.
I lived at home but sounded reasonable. Costs of activities and rinks are pretty average
Average nights out but could venture into other local town for not too much via cab
I joined a local swimming club and many joined a local gym
