About You
The people were extremely welcoming and friendly. After 2 weeks I felt like I had been there for months. People really differentiate this firm from other schemes.
The associates and trainees were always willing to help and provide support whenever it was asked for.
Supervisors made a real effort to try and give work that was interesting and work that required skills developed during university.
The Company
The other vacation schemers were good fun and were not too competitive with each other. This helped to make the atmosphere more enjoyable.
You get to meet a lot of people from a variety of levels and gives you a great idea about the culture of the firm.
Everything Else
The pay was adequate for travel and other expenses incurred from the scheme.
There was opportuinity to meet associates and even a talk by the CEO [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]. There was room for more networking events with partners and associates as the social events were only with trainees.
The firm has a variety of sport teams and volunteering schemes that employees can get involved in.
If a friend was looking for a small/medium sized firm I would definitely recommend Stephenson Harwood. The shceme gave a true and accurate reflection of the firm, which was helpful from an interview perspective.
