The Role
Some real challenges on a say to day basis. Job role very varied, which kept it interesting.
Treated like a real employee and part of a close team. Treated like a close team member.
Allowed to lead projects but have all the suppot rquired to fall back on.
Work load varies. Sometimes very busy and work extra hours but sometimes have down time which gives me a change to work on personal development.
Given the opportunity to lead projects from R&D.
Many skills and training i will take away from placement. I have also gained personal attributes such as confidence and communication skills.
The Company
Very laid back, with a friendly atmosphere.
Intial handover a little bit ropey, but this is due to sorting out IT issues/passwords.logins etc.
GSK gave me many training and experience opportunies - basically anything i wanted to do within reason.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Graduate schemes not available in the category im interested in, so would have to come across an opening.
The Culture
Very good social schene with toher students and colleagues.
I lived at home but so not sure on living costs. Socialising in London can be expensive.
Area of GSK House some nice pubs but have to travel to central London for more.
