The Role
The placement was great, the atmosphere and the team were incredible and made the year out special.
I felt a part of the team and my work and input was valued.
Support was always there when needed and everyone was happy to help me out where they could.
There was always work for me to do but not so much that I had to work extra hours and stress out about it. If I needed more or less the team would always help me out.
My ideas were listened to and some of my ideas were incorporated into the team for the future. I was left to complete my tasks and not constantly being checked up on.
I have learnt to work in teams, manage my time and been given a preview of what working life is like. I feel that this has prepared me not only for after university but also for my final year of my degree.
The Company
The office always had a good vibe, plenty of things always going on and people always up to help and have fun.
placement was well organised and I settled in very quickly.
My manager was more than happy to help me progress with training and development. He let me do my Prince 2 course will at GSK and they paid for my training.

Working from home
I had applied for their graduate scheme and been given a contract to continue working with them over the summer before heading back to uni.
The Culture
At the start the students organised a lot of events outside of work but as the year got busier the events died down a bit.
Very expensive to live near work in London. was hard to save money and still have a social life along rent and bills.
It's London!
plenty of sports events each week and social trips out after work with colleagues
