The Role
Experience was amazing but the line of work was stressful due to the busy work schedule as we are slightly understaffed for the amount of work we have.
Was good and got on well with everyone.
Not much support given during my project, pretty much left to my own devices which was difficult baring in mind the project involved equipment I had not used and software I had very basic knowledge of.
Very busy most weeks.
Had a fair bit of responsibility like ordering solvents for the whole lab, ensuring we had the stock to fullfill the jobs needed.
Definitely learnt a lot that will be used at uni and once graduated in my future career.
The Company
Had a laugh and did some socialising outside of work with colleagues.
Was ok.
Training was good and development from SRG with presentation and poster sessions were very useful.
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Been offered if I want to come back it shouldn't be a problem.
The Culture
Some groups were quite socail and others weren't.
Property was expensive to rent and socialising was ok cost wise if you selected the cheaper options.
No option of nightlife unless you wanted to sit in a particular pub till midnight.
Some socialing activities like bowling, curry nights etc.
