The Role
Always looked forward to going into work!
My colleagues all valued my work and the effort that I put into my work and would often comment on this and congratulate me on my work
I was given various opportunities for development ans was offered support and guidance throughout my placement from various managers.
I was never left with nothing to do and was very rarely overloaded. at any times where i did feel overloaded my colleagues would support me or would be on hand to assist me.
I was given a lot of responsibility on my placement which I really enjoyed and aided my development a great deal.
I was able to improve not only skills that would aid my degree such as research skills but also life skills such as time management and self-motivation.
The Company
In the office everyone was very friendly and we were able to support each other and become good friends as well as colleagues.
Very well done - I was welcomed into the team quickly and was able to get settled into a role fairly quickly. I soon developed my own work load and was able to go off on my own to complete work without having to shadow others.
I was given numerous opportunities to go on training programmes all of which i was keen to attend. The organisation did all they could to get me onto as many training programmes as possible for my position.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
They have stated that when I graduate to contact them and they will let me know if there are any vacancies. They stated that they would love me to go back there and would support my application to other jobs available in that area.
The Culture
I was the only placement student with the organisation at that time.
Wolverhampton is not that expensive.
Wolverhampton has a pretty good nightlife scene.
There would often be emails sent around about sports clubs or quiz nights etc. in order to get involved and meet people outside of work.
