  • All-round an amazing experience, with many learning opportunities, fun things to get involved in and a great company to work for!

  • Very valued, being an active member of department.

  • Support was always on hand and whenever you needed help or advice, staff would be there.

  • There was always a project to get on with, but a good balance of work, fun and personal development.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • My role being very diverse meant I worked on a wide range of projects facing off to multiple areas of the business. I was given substantial responsibility, with stakeholders often being higher management teams.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My placement was full of opportunity and daily challenges. I was trained in multiple aspects of problem solving/root cause analysis which has aided me considerably both in my role and daily life, giving me a systematic approach to dealing with my work.

  • Opportunities are available with the GSK Future Leaders Programme and some direct-entry roles are available. Both very appealing.

  • Often a weekly or bi-weekly event organised amongst students. There was always something going on.

  • London is quite expensive
