    • I really enjoyed it

    • Very valued. they welcomed me and integrated me into their team

    • yes. my manager was not always around as he was busy, but he would help me if I needed. They team was always on hand throu

    • Som and some. some days werespent waiting around for samples and other days I spent 10 hours in the lab

    • I was always given guidance by my superivsor. But otherwise I was left to get on with it

    • I expect the skills I learned to see me through to hopefully gettting a PhD

    • quiet but friendly

    • It is always difficult to predict what is going to haapen week on week in science, so it worked well given the circumstances

    • Good. but they are not currently hiring research graduates for my research interest. Maybe after a phd

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • yes we all got on really well

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • There were a couple of ok bars. but we mainly did house parties and movie nights in which kept it cheap

    • It is stevenage

    • I got involved in the church. Others I know got involved in sport and orchestras so yes
