The Role
Fantastic experience and now fully set to kick start a career once I have graduated
Most colleagues treat you no differently to permamant staff. As with all jobs there are some who don't trust IP's level of work
Very lucky with my 2 line managers, gave so much time and dedication towards benefiting not just this year but my future development.
As busy as you made yourself. Work was always there if you were willing to put yourself forward.
Worked with customers on a daily basis. Sometimes a lack of trust but on the whole a good level of responsibility.
Huge advantage over those who go straight through to third year.
The Company
Due to a re-structure in the business and some ruthless corporate leadership, the atmosphere has dropped low recently. Before this however it was excellent.
It was your responsibility to find things you needed. Not very organised for new starters but people always happy to help with resource.
Excellent levels of training and future development plans to help you get the most out of the year.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Due to the re-structure there are no longer entry level roles in my field.
The Culture
Good core group but to many people living from home.
Very tough. West London very expensive for everything.
Coming from Newcastle its probably unfair to compare... but average at best.
Opportunities to represent the brands at university occasions and sport tournaments
