The Role
I have been on my placement for 4 months and have really enjoyed my time so far. This is a company I would love to work for in the future.
Everyone makes you feel so welcome and make you feel like a part of the team from day 1.
Management are always asking how I am finding the placement and if I need any help. They are always available to talk to if you need anything.
I have a lot of work to do every day especially as I am working on Projects at the moment. Every day is always busy.
Being in Infrastructure the role needs you to have administrator rights to complete your day to day tasks. I never throught I would have this much responsibility so early on in a placement job.
Working at PepsiCo has helped me apply what I have learnt at Uni so far to real life situations. The team work, organisational and communication skills that have been improved on this year will always be useful in the future.
The Company
Everyone tries to have fun at work whilst still getting on with the work they need to do.
I fitted in well with the team straight away and always have things to do. It isn't like each day management have to find me something to do.
PepsiCo encourage you to learn new things and develop yourself over the year as the placement is meant to be for you as well as them.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Would love to come back and work here after I finish Uni.
The Culture
Team and company events happen quite often whether it is a team lunch or a night out.
I don't live in student accommadation so is hard to say on that part however Reading town can be quite expensive when socialising
Reading has many different bars and clubs to suit anyone
There is a sports and social club for people to get involved in.
