The Role
It was quite enjoyable but very monotomous.
Some colleagues appreciated the work i put in, but I felt my supervisor wasn't appreciative.
During the first week there was very little direction and guidance. It has taken me a while to settle into the job without much clear directions.
I'm normally quite busy, but i never say no to when people ask me to do things which may give the impression that i'm not busy enough.
I'm not given much responsibility as i often have to have my emails checked before sending them. Many things I do have to be checked by my colleagues.
I've definitely learnt better time management skills. Creating a plan and going forward and sticking with time that i have alloted myself to do each sections.
The Company
The general atmosphere is very working type.
The voerall work placement was alright. I feel they could have given me more responsibility and given clearer directions at the beginning.
I feel they have invested a bit of time in me, but the department has been very busy so I don't think they have invested everything in me to help my development and growth.
I wouldn't want to have the same job for a career.
The Culture
We have gone out for meals but only a few, this is because I travel by train to work so i'm unable to stay out late due to train times.
The cost is about right, I'm earning enough to pay for everything.
I haven't experienced the nightlife at the place where i work.
There were a few opportunities i had to turn down due to work.
