The Role
Working here ws an enjoyable experience, learning new skills and making new friendships with fellow IP's.
Felt like I added value to the team, and the work I did was appreciated.
My supervisor was fantastic, and gave me encouragement or support when needed.
As with all jobs there are times when you are busy or bored, but overall a good balance.
My responsinbilities increased throughout the year.
Have learnt a lot of life skills which will be applicable to any career I choose to go into, as well as skills which will assist me in my final year of university.
The Company
At some points the group was stressed, however over the course of the year I would say that the atmosphere was good.
The company hosts hundreds of IPs every year so are well practised and very slick!
Had a lot of personal development, and opportunities for more if you so wish.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Due to the economic situation the company is not hiring in the area I have done my placement in. However there are some opportunities in other areas such as sales etc.
The Culture
Great social scene, not as good as being a student but a great compromise.
Quite expensive compared to university life! But you do you have a pay packet to make up for that!
Not that far from London, but the place it self was awful!
I play rugby, so got involved with the local club.
