The Role
A very good experience, with many opprotunities to learn and develop in a real job with roles that make a significant impact on the company.
Very friendly nice atmosphere.
Good development allowign opportunities to learn, great guidance and mentoring.
Initially my work load was quite smallto give me time to develop into the role but as soon as I got more skilled, the work flooded in and was quite demanding, timewise having a large amount to complete.
A great deal of trust was placed on me to ensure journals and accounts were correct for our legal entity.
I have learn a lot of real life work experience which is the practical side to ym studies, its allowd me to consolidate my understanding and home into improving my skills and make me more confident for university.
The Company
Not the most exciting atmosphere, but some good conversatiosn with colleagues.
Quite well, included a accomdation day, a week packed with after work events to get to know other placement in other roles. Included a 1 month handover period with the existing placement student.
Had caterpillar required learning, simulated work environment, catterpillar six sigma yellow belt.
The Culture
Quite a lot of events organised.
Peterborough has been a cheap place for rent and living.
Not the most exciting night out but at least its something.
A few department relates events were organised throughout the year.
