The Role
The placement exceeded my expectations and has been a great experience which will surely help me in the future
I have got on extremely well with my colleagues, who did whatever they could to help my development. Furthermore, I was rewarded with a short term contract to continue working for the company, which made me feel even more valued by my colleagues.
My management were always happy to help answer any questions or provide assistance when required.
If I ever felt like I had the capacity to take on more work, my management would do their best to find something for me to work on, ensuring I was kept busy at all times.
I had a great deal of responsibility, dealing with colleagues of Director level and above on a daily basis.
The skills I have developed have acted as foundations for me to build upon in the future.
The Company
With the office being open-plan, there is always conversation and a real sense of community.
I was made to feel like a regular employee, showing the smooth performance of the placement scheme.
I was able to gain a qualification whilst on placement.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
I have applied for the graduate scheme, for which several members of my management have said they will provide references if required.
The Culture
Regular placement events/nights were arranged
Due to the London location, socialising was expensive. As I lived a long way away from work, it was difficult to afford to stay in London to socialise.
Central London is only a short tube journey away
There were several opportunities to take part in charity days etc.
