  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Loved the vacation scheme and would highly recommend it to any party.

    • The team were very eager to provide me with work and were vocal when they appreciated the job done.

    • The open-door policy was absolutely true - if I ever had a query (about work or the firm generally) everyone was happy to help.

    • Gave an accurate insight into what the role will entail in the future.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The scheme was very well structured and found the right balance between time in the department, socials, talks and assessments.

    • The atmosphere was great and the people are as lovely as the firm says.

    • The team were happy to give me work from day one and were keen to explain matters to me and put the facts into context as I had no previous practical experience of the work.

    • A true reflection of what is involved, and a great insight into how the department and firm works.

    • The department was great fun and everyone gets on.

    • I was paid a set wage for the week placement.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • More so at the socials when the other trainee attended,

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?

    • There were informal drinks on the first day and then an organised social on the wednesday night. This was a pool tournament and was a fantastic way to mingle with everyone rather than sticking in a group.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?

    • It is the most accurate way of seeing what the firm has to offer and was incredibly enjoyable.
