The Role
I worked with the best people and learnt a lot- not rated higher, because my role was newly created, so I had to take a lot of initiative in the beginning to pick up work
Very valued- we were all relatively new, so had to work together, often crossing over job roles to help each other out.
Not as much as I would have liked-but this improved throughout the year as I seeked out support rather than waited for it.
I was based in financial control, so it depended on the time of month- during the end of a month, and beginning of the next, it gets a lot busier.
More responsibility as the placement went on- and quite varied, so it allowed me to learn a lot. At times I was covering people who were senior to me as well.
No question- this will stay with me for life!...Learnt a lot about myself, what I want/don't want, and where I want to be.
The Company
Quite relaxed- great vibe- and surprising for a corporate office!
Not very well- but I suspect that was because everyone was relatively new in the team, and my role was also in the midst of being created and therefore undefined.
There are not as many opportunities for personal development and training as there are for permanent employees and graduates- but we did have team days and workshops, and initial inductions that were really well done and useful.
Sports and Social Club

Working from home
It would be great to work here again- the finance grad scheme sounds promising, but the jobs are not guaranteed and there's not a whole lot of differentiation between internal and external candidates going forward.
The Culture
Excellent!
Not as sure about this one, because I wasn't living around this area- but Brentford is quite reasonable from what I've heard.
Quite close to Central London, so great!
Quite a lot- there are football/socialising clubs, charity teams, etc.
