About You
Everyone at the firm is very welcoming and friendly. It was exciting to work together with experienced people who have a great passion for their practice, and get an insight into their daily workload.
I received quality work from the very first day and everyone was open for my ideas.
Everyone at the firm is very approachable and happy to be there if you need an answer. Having a dedicated "trainee buddy" who is always there to help you and give guidance and feedback is very useful.
The scheme prepered me well for the type of work that I as a trainee lawyer will undertake.
The Company
The firm itself is very well organised, and this is also true for the vacation scheme.
Everyone who took part on the vac scheme enjoyed the work and the atmosphere the firm has provided. The organised social events were great fun and good opportunity to get to know more about the firm.
The firm is happy to support your personal development. It contributes towards LPC fees, but helps also if you would like to deepen your knowledge outside law.
I got trainee responsibilities and had the oportunity to work on projects for big clients.
Taking part on Practice Presentations makes it easier to getting an insight into other teams daily work, it helped me to decide about the seats I would select.
Everything Else
There were many organised events throughout the 2 week scheme. Dinners, bowling, partner lunch... where you had the opportunity to ask others in the legal profession from the trainees to the partners.
I can recommend everyone taking part on the social events, it is a good opportunity to meet new people, hear their success stories and relax after a challanging day.
On our corporate responsibility presentation we have been encoraged to take part on voluntary work to help the younger generation.
Pinsent masons is definately my first choice. Taking part on the vacation placement was an excellent experience, exceeded my expectations, I would highly recommend it!
