    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Savills is a giant in the property industry, and you can really feel that when your here. Very impressive office and work rate.

    4/5

    3/5

  • The work wasnt particularly difficult, so not much support was needed.

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The work was fairly repetative, as we are unqualified, and therefore only aboe to complete basic tasks, so it hasnt really aided my degree

    3/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Due to it being a very busy month for the employees (lots of deals happening), it did feel at times like we were inconveniencing our directors, asking them to give us work, when they really didnt have much for us to do.

    3/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Atmosphere here is very good generally, you get the odd person who can be abit rude, or maybe doesnt have time for you as your just a "summer scheme student", but overall, everyone os very friendly and welcoming

    4/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Training wasnt really necessary for the level of work that we were doing, so it was generally just common sense, and a bit of guidance.

    3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The office is set up so that everyone sits together inan open space, so you really get a feel for what its like for every member, from low level assistant, to top level directors.

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • You get a very good feel for what the company is about, and how they do business.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Very valuable. Although the work was boring at times, it is always improtant to make the best impression, and prove that you can do the boring things well, in which case you will be given more responsibility.

    5/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • £1000 for a month

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Open office so easy to meet other people. Need to be very outgoing

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • If you are chatty and confident, they will notice you..

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Work was so intense that there were few opportunities to go out with the team.

    2/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yes. As long as you bear in mind that you are there for a reason, not to have fun or go out on client lunch's every day, but to impress the people who matter, and try to secure a grad position for after uni.

    4/5
