About You
I really enjoyed my time spent at Pinsent Masons LLP. The firm and all its employees are very welcoming and are happy to answer any questions about the firm, their experiences and different practice areas.
Everyone was always willing to talk to me about the practice area I was sitting in. Unfortunately I did not get very many opportunities to talk to my supervisor who was very busy over the course of the two weeks I spent with the firm. Speaking to other vac scheme students, this seemed to be the case with a lot of us.
My trainee buddy, legal PAs, everyone in the department and graduate recruitment were very supportive.
It was very useful.
The Company
Very well structured.
I did find some work quite challenging but overall it was a great atmosphere - especially when trainees were involved!
Provided an intense induction on our first day. The in-tray exercise was carried out quite early on to allow for personal development later on in the week/over the next week.
It gave me an insight into the different practice areas and also the work a trainee undertakes.
The firm really emphasises its values. This comes across very well in the day-to-day life at Pinsent.
Mostly useful although I had to do some tasks which were administrative in nature (this is what a trainee will have to undertake from time to time so I suppose it just gave me a flavour of what's to come!)
Everything Else
Paid full expenses.
Lunches, social events, work shadowing.
Amazing!
I know sports are available but not entirely sure what else.
A million per cent. Best firm!
