The Role
I really enjoyed my placement as the company had a friendly working atmosphere.
My colleagues encouraged to give my views and valued my input.
Management had given me support by providing training.
It would be a mixture, some days I would be very busy but other days not much, it depends on the audit phase.
I was given a lot of responsibility since the commencement of my placement, eventually I was able to run my own audits.
I have gained many skills such as interpersonal, analytical, business awareness, which will help me in my degree and future jobs.
The Company
It was generally a quiet but friendly environment to work in.
Overall it was ok.
I had a lot of training during the year, courses include Fundamentals of Internal Auditing, Communication Skills, Effective Report Writing, Power of Persuasion and Influencing, Overview of LCH Clearnet, and understanding the markets.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
LCH Clearnet was a great starting point but I would like to experience something different, may be in the accounting field.
The Culture
Everyone was generally very nice.
As it was in the city, it was quite expensive.
There are qfew bars around.
Not many except for the sports and social club activities and corporate responsibility.
