About You
The insight was very varied and we were always kept busy.
Everyone was very friendly, and went some way to get you involved.
My superviser and buddy were always available to talk to.
There was a varied amount of work available, at some times more useful than others - but it depended on how busy my department was.
The Company
We were given a schedule at the beginning of the week, which was strictly adhered to.
Everyone was very friendly, including those on the scheme, and there was a great social atmosphere.
We were given adequate training at the beginning of the week, and anything we needed advice on, or showing how to do was dealt with throughout the week. The library staff were exceptionally helpful, as was my buddy.
Although my department wasn't as busy as usual, it gave me a good insight into what the day to day roles of trainees were.
The company culture was great, very sociable and friendly. There's no need to stay late unless necessary - so you only need to stay until 2am if there was an urgent deal!
I was pleasantly surprised about my experience, and thoroughly enjoyed my week.
Everything Else
I attended a departmental drinks occasion at the end of the week which enabled me to speak to senior members of the firm.
Excellent - we were invited to drinks on the first day, a social on the wednesday and end of week drinks on the friday.
