About You
Very sociable atmosphere with all the delegates. Relaxed at times but on the whole there was a very professional feel.
By the end of the Talent Academy my relationship with the HR staff was very good and friendly.
Staff always on hand and willing to answer questions.
Not particularly relevant to my degree. However, valuable development of public speaking and presentation skills.
The Company
Exceptionally well organised.
Atmosphere became increasing relaxed as delegates got to know each other and bond through social activities in the evenings.
Lots of advice and feedback given during group exercises.
Being able to meet and talk to current staff give great insight, as well as following a busy working schedule during the Talent Academy.
Company culture was at the forefront of the Talent Academy and we were constantly reminded of it.
I already had a good idea of what I wanted to do but still helpful.
Everything Else
I was paid up to £150 for travel. Hotel, food and drink were all paid for for the duration of the Talent Academy.
Regular networking opportunities with staff of different levels of experience.
Lots of time set aside in the evenings specifically for networking with staff and bonding with other delegates.
This was eluded to by staff members during networking events.
Yes. I found the experience extremely valuable. There is the opportunity to secure a graduate job with the firm but regardless of this, the opportunity to develop business skills is worth taking advantage of.
