  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Very sociable atmosphere with all the delegates. Relaxed at times but on the whole there was a very professional feel.

  • By the end of the Talent Academy my relationship with the HR staff was very good and friendly.

  • Not particularly relevant to my degree. However, valuable development of public speaking and presentation skills.

  • Exceptionally well organised.

  • Atmosphere became increasing relaxed as delegates got to know each other and bond through social activities in the evenings.

  • Lots of advice and feedback given during group exercises.

  • Being able to meet and talk to current staff give great insight, as well as following a busy working schedule during the Talent Academy.

  • Company culture was at the forefront of the Talent Academy and we were constantly reminded of it.

  • I already had a good idea of what I wanted to do but still helpful.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • I was paid up to £150 for travel. Hotel, food and drink were all paid for for the duration of the Talent Academy.


  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Regular networking opportunities with staff of different levels of experience.

  • Lots of time set aside in the evenings specifically for networking with staff and bonding with other delegates.

  • This was eluded to by staff members during networking events.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yes. I found the experience extremely valuable. There is the opportunity to secure a graduate job with the firm but regardless of this, the opportunity to develop business skills is worth taking advantage of.
