About You
I thoroughly enjoyed my week at RBS and it gave me a great introduction to markets
It wasn't really set up as an opportunity to be valued
The graduates who we rotated with were more than willing to answer any questions we had about the industry
My communication skills developed by speaking with the current employees and I developed my knowledge of some financial products
The Company
At times I felt a little lost with the schedule but on the whole it was quite well structured
I really liked the atmosphere at RBS and employees appeared to really enjoy working there
I felt that the programme was a good introduction but it would have been good to meet some more senior members of the bank
I gathered a fair view of what it would be like to work for the firm and I think the Summer internship would build on that
The views and values of RBS were clearly laid out during the insight. We also participated in a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) day which really emphasised how important this is to the firm.
This experience encouraged me to strive for this industry as my future career.
Everything Else
and given accommodation for the week
there were evening drinks events which were ideal for getting to know people currently on the graduate programme
really relaxed and comfortable occasions
I didn't really ask about this but it is obvious that employees are also friends outside of working hours.
I really enjoyed my experience and is an ideal footing for getting a Summer Internship
