The Role
It was challenging aswell as rewarding, it was a great oppertunity to get out of the class room and put all the theory i have learned over my degree into practise.
This is a good question, but its what you make of it as it such a big company at times you are left to your self and may feel no one is there to support you but in the end it is worth all the effort.
Where given clear instrctions and in the later stages of the placement you are left to your own accord, which in itself can be a great oppertunity to thrive and and see the rewards of your hard work.
fast moving company, with thousands of products constantly busy, there was always something to do.
at the start it was limited but towards the end of the placement it was many key decisions were left to me, which was really a rewarding experience.
I have a in depth understanding of the retail industry and product awareness and consumer buying habbits. After this placement it has give me the confidence to set up my own shop and know exatcly what products to buy, how to do market research and organise the layout of a store. Also has gave me an oppertunity to be in contact with various suppliers and how products are brought from abroad.
The Company
Its lively and busy, people always entering and leaving the building.
its was a well structured programe easy to follow, and alot of freedom of expression.
By letting you handle and mange thier products, they gave me first hand experience of what it is actually like to work in this field.
