The Role
challenging tasks but not too many
very attentive and nice. Always there to help. Friendly.
any time i need an update, my manager is there for me. Clear tasks at the beginning of the placements. Flexible minor changes as we go along.
depends on how structured you work, there is a room to find a balance between work and leasure time
i am managing 2 projects at the moment, which influence daily work of several departments.
any kind of training during the placement is helpful for both knowledge exposure and social skills. very helpful.
The Company
brilliant. the colleagues are friends among each other and involve me into their work. also activities after work are open for me.
a designated person is my point of contact, an orientation meeting held on the 1st day of placement to define the tasks. Me request of insight into several other departments is pending yet though.
4 soft skills modules during the 1st year, 3 trainings in the second year (Graduate placement) my current placement (2 months) is based on skills I gained before
Flexi Time
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I would like to stay within this company, many ways and jobs to choose from
The Culture
leasure time activities do not always suit my interests but there are a lot to choose from. Graduates meet every day in the canteen to cosialize and involve other short placement students into the group.
depending on your loan you need to find a balance of which activities to do.
i am sure in a big city there are lots of opportunities. in a smaller town there are a couple of night clubs and pubs but not too much. Personally for me a nice evening out with friends does not necessarily have to be in a disco.
a lot of volunteering and social events to be involved in, parades, travels, family days to organise.
