The Role
I have gained a lot from my placement year. I've not only enhanced skills I already possessed but also learnt new skills. I now feel I will stand out as a potential employee after graduation.
I felt at home from day one of my placement. I have been respected as an Engineer throughout the placement year.
My supervisors were extremely supportive throughout my placement
Due to my role I was busy everyday, dealing with Production issues, customer complaints and root cause investigation. I also had important cost saving and continuous improvement projects ongoing.
I have been totally responsible for my own work.
I have gained invaluable skills and knowledge
The Company
Great atmosphere, and great people
Extremely organised
Due to cost cuts, not all training was available.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
I have been offered a graduate role.
The Culture
Great bunch of people on placement, constant social activities.
Southern England is preety expensive!
Ramsgate/Broadstairs & Canterbury are good nights out. Although, London is only 1 hour away which is a 10/10.
Lots of opportunities through the Sports & Social club and also out of work activities, such as Football.
