About You
Amazing, I actually looked forward to coming into work every morning.
Everyone from trainees to partners value the work I've done and I felt that even my smallest contribution (like tabbing) was valued.
The graduate recruitment team, Kali, Ellinor and Laura, were extremely helpful throughout the vacation scheme. The trainees we were assigned to were also extremely helpful and were ready to answer the smallest queries.
The legal research skills and legal application skills I've learnt will be very applicable in my studies.
The Company
It was very structured and the talks were very well-planned.
Amazing.
IT training and legal research training.
To a certain extent.
The open-spaced office and the networking lunches allowed us to understand the company's culture.
Pretty valuable insight into law as a career and understanding the work of a trainee.
Everything Else
Paid £275 per week, given an eating card filled with £50 for two weeks for the cafeteria food.
Had 3 networking lunches with associates and partners in the firm and 2 socials with trainees.
Really good, firm invested much resources. Had a cocktail making workshop with trainees with drinks after, sponsored drinks at Mary Janes for all the vac scheme students, and a dinner with trainees at Tayaabs.
Found out largely through conversation.
Definitely. Great firm, great people! Would have loved to stay for one more week.
