  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

  • Generally busy but some days quieter than others based on work load. To be expected.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Running critical assays and allowed to use very expensive equipment on own. Required to present data to large groups. Also responsible for supervising and creating work plans for placement/work ex students for several weeks on numerous occasions.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Lab experience and public speaking skills gained have been invaluable!
