About You
It was a very rewarding but very busy three weeks
This might depend on the practice group but generally everyone is extremely welcoming and helpful
The principals and trainee buddies were very helpful offering their technical knowledge and their experiences with the firm
Commercial awareness, attention to detail, time management, abiulity to draft and proofread will help me in any career path I take
The Company
There were seminars to learn about al the different practice groups, other talks about big deals the firm has closed, team building activities and a mock client pitch
They were most concerned with giving usa really good experience at the firm, learning about all of the practice groups and the firm's culture
Principals and trainee buddies wer all assigned and they took the time to explain things, KnowHow online and the intranet were also explained so I could research on my own as well
Not necessarily because I worked at a trainee level, it's just an insight after all, but I got to see what people are actually like.
I really did not have any idea how welcoming and supportive Linklaters employees are until I came here for three weeks.
We were given two opportunities in different practice groups so we had a good first glimpse at what we would do in these groups.
Everything Else
300 pounds per week
We were invited to one firmwide event then multiple dinners with trainees and partners.
We were given a list and some people got involved but it's a short time and we were kept busy.
