About You
I really enjoyed my time at the firm, it had a good balance between lectures, work and social events.
The people were very welcoming and some of the work I did was really appreciated.
The people who worked at Linklaters were very happy to give advice despite being very busy.
The research and proof reading skills that I worked on will both be very helpful.
The Company
The graduate recruitment team had organised a full and exciting schedule.
Atmosphere was really good, all the vacation scheme students got on really well.
They took much time to answer questions and put on a lecture programme which introduced us to each of the departments.
It was really useful for this, I sat in two departments during my insight and both were great fun.
I think the insight really helped me to understand the company culture, the interns sat in offices and attended firm-wide social events so really gained a sense of the firm's culture.
Everything Else
I was paid £900 for 3 weeks.
Yes, through the social events we got to meet different people from the firm. We had the most contact with different trainees.
The social events were really great. Activities included the London Eye and dinner at the OXO tower.
Although we were told about different activities, and could contact the people who ran them, I personally did not attend many other activities.
Yes definitely, it was a really enjoyable experience.
