The Role
Team based work which I found supportive and motivational.
The other members of the team were clear with what was expected and appreciated a job well done or any extra effort put in.
There is a very good support culture at PwC. Even if your career coach is busy, the team members on your current engagement will be very willing to give advice.
This varied on engagement, but was particularly high at busy season.
I performed a mini-audit of a small entity by myself.
I learnt some technical accounting knowledge, but particularly relevant was the exposure to different companies working practises.
The Company
The social groups had a number of events and this created a good working environment.
I was mainly assigned to one industry sector. I would have preferred that this be a little more varied, but I still received a broad experience.
I did not take part in any formal training other than the induction, but the on-the-job training was extensive and objectives setting was encouraged on each engagement (even if just a week long).

The Culture
I was not introduced to other placement and intern students formally, this was left to me. However, this was not really necessary as I found I socialised with the graduates.
Central London is expensive, but live in the centre, as it is so much fun.
Great nightlife. If you want to save money - go for student nights.
I was invited to play football.
