  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • A really great firm with interesting departments and very friendly people. I would thoroughly recommend the RPC vacation scheme.

    • The vacation scheme genuinely felt like a two-way process. Work scheme students were valued and you got the sense that people were interested to talk to you and get your opinions on the firm which is very refreshing!

    • I gained a fantastic insight into the firm and had great exposure to the work that trainees might typically be involved in.

    • A great deal of emphasis was placed on helping vacation scheme students to connect with and understand the firm's culture - this was achieved through social events with trainees, lunches with partners and associates and through the business project.

    • The vacation scheme and particularly the high quality work that I was involved in confirmed to me that law is a career I'm committed to pursuing.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • We had an opportunity to meet all levels of the firm from support staff and trainees to partners. We also had talks from the senior management including the Chief Operating Officer, Richard Emanuel which was very inspiring.

    • Social events included a Mixology class with the trainees and dinner at Tayyabs - both were great fun!
