The Role
huge variety of work which makes it more enjoyable.
i feel very valued by my collegues and i am definitely a key memeber of the team.
you get alot of regular training to help you progress as much as you can. all employees are at diferent levels and so there is always someone to help you out and train you further.
always very busy, can be quite pressured
alot - you get alot of resposibility which is good so you can show what areas you really are good at.
wide range of skills e.g customer service, sales, training others, driving, admin skills etc
The Company
we always have alugh - sometimes the managers can be under stress but they realise its important to keep the atmosphere upbeat.
there is a clear path of what criteria needs to be met throughout the year. you can set yoursefl clear goals which are well within reach if you do push yourself.
my assistant manager would put her time aside in order to train me to where i neded to be. the compnay does regular training at headoffice with other employees at a similar level to you.

if i wanted to come back after my degree they would take me on. it is nice to know i have that option avaiable at the end of my degree which not all students who do a placement can actually say.
The Culture
an annual intern event is held whereby you have a chance to meet with other interns (both new and old) and also get time to network with all the superiors. within the branch there is great morale and we regualry do things socially outside of work.
socialising was good - but living close to london was much more expensive than being in the north.
was a good area with afew pubs and small bars. good for after work drinks.
we tried to organise area nights out which is a great chance to meet other peers across the area.
