The Role
Enjoyed the content of the work and the way in which I got to go about the work and learn about the industry
Was made to feel very welcomed and feel as though my work was of real benefit to them and to the business as a whole
Lots of support, could ask any questions and get helpful and effective responses
Most of the time I was busy however there were times when I had little or nothing to do, however got work if I asked for it during these periods
Given lots of responsibility and got to meet and report to some influential people within the business
Discovered that it is the job I want to do when I leave university and has taught me loads about techniques. Has also given me lots of experience with practice application and interview skills that will stay with me forever
The Company
Could be quiet at times but good fun when conversation or discussion was started
Very well organised and most of the time people were aware of my role and how they could help
Invested a lot of time in developing me in work, however not much outside help
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Didn't get a job offer, however they taught me how to get a job within the business to put me a step ahead of the competition should I wish to work for them in the future
The Culture
Very good, knew the other placement students really well and was never short of a night out if wanted!
Had the money to live on my own and have nights/meals out
Lots of places to go to with lots of variety as well
Events were advertised and felt like I was welcome on any
