  • Very interesting and you get treated as a normal member of staff.

  • Treated exactly the same as others.

  • Management, particularly your line manager, are always there for any issues.

  • Work is mostly ongoing so sometimes you will have lots and sometimes little. This tends to balance the workload.

  • I was given responsability for many different stages of the work I was doing.

  • Very good transferable skills learnt.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • A fairly quiet offic day to day, but there was always something going on at some point.

  • Never had any problems with the organisation of the placement, and various meetings and visits were set up to maximise our time.

  • The company were very happy to send us on training course, the same as regular staff.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Regular outings at the beginning and end of the year.

  • Housing was quite cheap, but socialising was fairly expensive.

  • Need to go further a field to have a really good time.

  • London was only a short train ride away, where there were plenty of options available.
