The Role
Very interesting and you get treated as a normal member of staff.
Treated exactly the same as others.
Management, particularly your line manager, are always there for any issues.
Work is mostly ongoing so sometimes you will have lots and sometimes little. This tends to balance the workload.
I was given responsability for many different stages of the work I was doing.
Very good transferable skills learnt.
The Company
A fairly quiet offic day to day, but there was always something going on at some point.
Never had any problems with the organisation of the placement, and various meetings and visits were set up to maximise our time.
The company were very happy to send us on training course, the same as regular staff.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
I think that the year would help me get a job here in the future if I decided to apply.
The Culture
Regular outings at the beginning and end of the year.
Housing was quite cheap, but socialising was fairly expensive.
Need to go further a field to have a really good time.
London was only a short train ride away, where there were plenty of options available.
