The Role
Challenging but was enjoyable, gained experience of working in a industrial environment.
Was treated well and taken seriously when working on projects/tasks with them.
Help was always provided when asked.
Varied depending on how many projects I was working on.
I was trusted with projects and responsibilities were given by members other than my line manager.
Have gained lots of academic and non-academic skills, specially communication and presentation skills.
The Company
Varied during campaign and maintenace period but generally pleasant.
Not greatly organised as there was no structure to what I will be doing when I began the placement year. sort of went with the flow.
Invested a large sum, examples include CI Yellow Belt training, Ryder Marsh and SIP team training.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Few graduate positions are available, mainly engineering and shift manager roles. A person can quickly progress within the company with hard work.
The Culture
Yes as there were various opportunities available to see placement student from other sites, such as during Specialist days.
Fairly cheap living and socialising in Kings Lynn.
Kings Lynn is fairly dull with only few nightclubs available.
No as most of the activities were available for guys.
