The Role
I have learnt a lot during my internship. I have developped my skills and my knowledge of the Banking sector. It was definitively a Valuable Experience.
My colleagues were really nice and helpful.
My manager was really supportive and helpful. He gave me useful feedback about my internship.
I was too busy most of the time.
I have been given a lot of responsabily. I had to run a valuation model for three companies. But also I was helpling on "Pitch Book" and on others tasks.
Some of the skills I have developped are financial modelling, researching, organizational skills, Interpreting financial statements and company analysis. As I plan to do a master finance, they will definitively help me in my studies and beyond.
The Company
Serious atmosphere.
It was perfect and I wasnt expected so much.
We had plenty of business area presentation and a training on (FX trading). We also had the opportunity to visit the London Metal Exchange, Bloomberg and ICAP offices. Finally we had to work on two interesting projets.
Company Parties/Events
The future employment prospect seem good. However it will depend on my performance during the Graduate recruitment scheme.
The Culture
My fellow students were friendly and nice.
I worked in the City of London so the cost of living was expensive.
It is an office area therefore, it was quiet during the night.
