The Role
Friendly office environment and sufficient workload made it very enjoyable
All very friendly with a good balance of work ethic and banter
Tasks were always explained clearly and supervisors were happy to answer any questions
There were times where I had multiple tasks to complete and times where I had to find my own work to do
Sometimes I'd just have to print documents and organise them in a foler and other times I had to amend a contract
First hand experiences brought the concepts I've been learning at uni to life
The Company
Perfect balance of being corporate and professional and being friendly and banterous
Induction was hugely useful with organised social events to follow. The whole month's experience was planned out from the start
Whilst I proved useful for the team, the team helped me in learning aspects of building surveying
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing as I can see myself working at such a company in the future. I feel the contacts and impressions I have made will assist me greatly in my future career
The Culture
We organised lunch get togethers daily, and after work drinks on a Fridays. We all got to know each other quickly and therefore felt more confident in each other and ourselves
I lived at home and was able to commute every day. Food and drink was expensive because the placement was in Central London, but of course it was all worth it!
Various pubs and bars in walking distance made it easy to go for a casual drink without feeling the need to stay out for longer than you wish
Emails were sent around the office to create sports teams for various social events.
