  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was very enjoyable, kept busy with actual work to do and not just photocopying etc.

    • I felt valued by the team, and had lunches with members of staff and was involved in video conferences with them.

    • I had lots of different people who i could go to, email or IM if i had any questions.

    • I'm not yet at degree level but the insight into HR was very useful.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured, no times when i was bored at all.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • It was a working environenment with busy people, but people were still smiling and being friendly, helping me find rooms etc. - a very good atmosphere

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • I'm only an A-Level student on a 2 week placement so it wasnt really in that sense.

    • It gave me a really useful insight into what its like working in a few diferent departments at shell.

    • Learnt about the ethics of the business as a whole and its policies.

    • Well it helped me cross off a few options and look into some new ones.

    • Paid for all food and travel.

    • I was able to meet lots of other firm members and talk to them a bout their roles

    • They were great, i was able to get interviews and find out about alot of other departments and everyone was so friendly i could ask them to get a coffee.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • They have a gym and table tennis equipment, they can go to formula 1 events like silverstone etc.
