About You
A fantastic experience which allows you to learn a lot about the markets and JP Morgan as a company.
There is a big emphasis on how well the company treats its interns and this proved to be very true throughout the week. We were treated very well and I was impressed by the extent of exposure you have to the firm and staff.
You are given mentors before the spring week who are their to help and advise you with any questions you have and you meet with them frequently throughout the week so you can really build a relationship with them. Everyone I met through networking and shadowing on rotations were very friendly, happy to meet you and had valuable advice to offer.
The week helps you to gain a lot of personal confidence alongside in depth market knowledge focused around different product areas.
The Company
Very well structured, 3 days of activities, learning about products, networking and skills sessions, 2 days of desk rotations.
Always so busy, each activity is fun and you always have things to do.
A lot of time is taken to not only teach you technical knowledge but about yourself, your skills and how to boost these for the future.
Desk rotations are a great experience.
All staff you meet from graduate level to senior are so helpful and happy to provide you with advise and answer questions.
Confirmed my decision to continue with this future career.
Everything Else
Provided with great accommodation sharing hotel rooms with another Spring Week participant. All with accommodation lived together so it was a really nice atmosphere
Big networking lunch on the Wednesday before desk rotations was one of the best, but there were always plenty of opportunities, especially whilst on rotations.
A nice informal networking with all the springweekers from IBD and Tech on the first day which really helped you to get to know each other better,.
Yes.
Definitely if you have an interest within the markets,
