About You
Everyone was very friendly, supervisors/trainnee buddies were willing to take their time to explain and answer any questions.
they really valued your presence and tried to give you real work that actually mattered, not giving you "fake" work just for the sake of keeping you busy. in particular, after my contribution to any client related work, they included you in the email to allow you to see your contribution.
willing to take their time out for you. my supervisors and trainee buddies took me out for coffee to talk to me on any issues I have etc.
definitely given lots of responsibility - have more of an understanding of how to carry out legal research, genuine insight into how law firms run as businesses etc.
The Company
sent with a schedule prior to starting the scheme so that i knew exactly what was going on.
depends on the departments, but generally very friendly, open, flat-structure
many workshops/skills sessions/ training sessions etc. this was particularly helpful because S&S's vacation scheme is 3 weeks long so I was able to make genuine contributions.
very!
somewhat helpful, but cultures slightly differ from departments, but overall culture is very open, friendly and very welcoming!
Definitely enjoyed every aspect of my scheme.
Everything Else
all it took was for you to go and speak to them, or email them to ask if they have any time - more than happy to take their time to meet you.
a diverse range. particularly enjoyed the pedibus!
pro bono works; sports teams
I loved the firm! they were very friendly, and everyone as very genuine people!!
