The Role
It was a worthwhile experience. All the people I worked with were helpful and I have learnt a great deal from them.
My team was very welcoming and extremely helpful.
Any support or additional training to help me in my job was given when required and assistance was always on hand. With the environment created within Cummins it was always really easy to ask people for help.
With the responsibilities I was given I was most of the time.
I was given more responsibilities the further into the placement I got. I received more responsibilities than I expected before I started. This meant I was never bored and makes your contributions seem more valued.
I received some very useful training (such as project management) which will help me a great deal throughout the rest of my education and into my career. Also the projects I have been involved in have given me a much better knowledge of engineering and supplier management.
The Company
There was a friendly, fun and relaxed atmosphere within the office. Also being based with two different departments helped give me a wider knowledge of how the business works.
The placement plan was well structured with weekly and monthly review to monitor your progress and discuss further responsibility you wish to take on.
I felt that with the training and development I received that Cummins care about the placement and graduate schemes and invest in you a great deal.

I would work for Cummins in the future if the chance arises.
