The Role
The work was often interesting and people were willing to find you challenging tasks.
Project teams socialise together often which encourage a friendly working atmosphere.
Everyone has a counsellor who they meet up with regularly and a buddy in their first couple of weeks.
When assigned to Projects the work was consistent, however there were longer quieter periods.
I was often allowed to train new joiners to the project.
Practical application of accounting and legal knowledge.
The Company
Project teams often had a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.
FIDS IP scheme was well organised, however no graduate scheme caused problems when applying for graduate role in other streams.
Internal training sessions depending on the project and peer group soft skills days.
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
Healthcare/Dental
Strong possibility of job offer if you show you are willing to work during your placement. Option to switch to other departments however this is more difficult.
The Culture
We often met for dinner and the induction week gave lots of opportunities for socialising.
I was based in London Bridge - housing and bars fairly expensive but not ridiculous.
Lots of bar/pubs nearby and close to the centre of London.
Lots of opportunities for CSR and Careers Fairs.
