About You
Between the incredibly friendly atmosphere throughout the firm and how welcoming everyone to the incredible socials the scheme was fantastic!
Throughout the scheme I was given genuine work to do and my principals were always ready to answer my constant questions and make me feel that I had a genuine contribution to make.
Plenty of guidance whenever I wanted and my questions were always readily answered
The placement both developed my skills but also hugely informed me about law and a career in City law.
The Company
Everything was very well structured and timetabled out in advance.
Everyone was extremely friendly at the firm while the socials were incredible. Wonderful food at posh restaurants - including the OXO Tower - and activities ranging from duck tours to the London Eye.
A huge amount
We had a lot of contact with the trainees and other lawyers and saw the work they did so we gained a very good idea of the work the trainees do.
Plenty of talks on the culture and values of the firm as well as seeing it in practice in the office.
Very useful.
Everything Else
£300 net per week for 3 weeks
Lunches were organised with trainees and lawyers as well as dinners and talks and further networking oppurtunities were available on request.
Plenty of them, always enjoyable and relaxed.
There's a huge number of sports and other activities the lawyers are involved in - we were also perfectly welcome to join in during our scheme.
Fantastic 3 weeks giving a great idea of Linklaters, the City and life in a large law firm.
