  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Great placement,I've been able to work together with some of the best researchers in the company

    • Interns work and spend most of their time together doing sport and having fun

    • I've been working on my phd topic during my placement. Good inputs and discussions which extremely improved my work came from my supervisors, so great support and guidance

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • During the placement I became very familiar with running jobs on large scale clusters. This will definetely speed up my research from now on.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • The atmosphere was relaxed and I had a great time with my colleagues during lunch and breaks. Nevertheless, people work really hard and I found very easy to stay focused on my work during the working time.

    • I didn't really have time to have a proper training program, although invited speakers came to the company every week or so. Overall I had a good personal development

    • Living cost is high in Cambridge, social is alright.
