About You
I really enjoyed the work and found that the time flew by. I looked forward to coming into work each day.
I really felt like I was helpful in the departments that I was placed in. The work I did was useful to the fee earners.
I felt supported the whole time and the office atmosphere was such that I never felt embaressed to ask questions or seek guidance.
It gave me a great insight into a city law firm and confirmed to me that law is what I want to do in a firm like this one.
The Company
Everything was run so well and was seamless; from social events, to skills sessions to in department work.
Excellent atmosphere, loved coming into work and great opportunity to meet genuinely lovely and interesting people.
Not ony were the social events great, but each department gave "Focus On" sessions which investmened in my learning.
I felt like part of the team and could speak to enough people that I got a real sense of the firm as a whole.
I was immersed in the work and environment so I really got to grips with the firm's culture.
It has confirmed that law is what I want to do and Taylor Wessing is the firm I want to do it in.
Everything Else
I was paid £250 per week for 2 weeks of work. Plus the food in the canteen is subsidised, and all of the social events were paid for by the firm.
Many social events including a firm wide party celebrating the firm's winning of the Law Firm of The Year Award.
Really fun, great opportunity to bond with other vac schemers, trainees and partners.
I found out a bit about pro-bono opportunities in the firm and extra curricular sport.
I loved it and hope that I will get a permanent job here in the future.
