  • The point of the vac Scehmes was not so much to learn new skills, but more to get to know the firm and the way the legal proffession works.

  • Engaging talks from the diferent departments on most mornings and having a combination of a buddy and a supervisor meant that you were kept busy for the majority of the time

  • Trainees explained their role within the firm and delegated some of their jobs it to us if it wasnt too technical

  • Talks from the members of different departments meant that you met people from all over the firm, who you might not necessarily have come across. Lunches and drinks with trainees and supervisors also helped us get to know the employees well
