About You
The work I was given (drafting documents and communication to clients) made me feel valued, especially when my work was sent out without amendments.
I receive support from everyone that gave me work and many individuals expressed that I could ask any questions at any time.
I have developed many skills such as improving my proof reading and learning valuable information about Property Law.
The Company
The insight was well structured to introduce us all to the format of the scheme and I.T. systems on the first day.
The atmosphere was friendly and ensured that I could always ask questions. I got to know a range of people (at varying levels) well both in the office and at social events.
The firm helped me to develop my skills through work and assessments, but there were no specific skill building workshops.
Talking to individuals from around the firm and undertaking the work of a trainee has given me a valuable insight.
The insight confirmed my desire to work in an International Commercial Law Firm and, in particular, showed me that I would be more than happy working with the Pinsents employees and with the work that the firm gets.
Everything Else
We were paid and out first day travel expenses were reimbursed.
A range of socials were organised including a wine tasting evening and a comedy club.
Some were widely spoken about, for example CSR and sports.
