About You
The variety of work made the two weeks very enjoyable.
Very - everyone was very welcoming.
The buddy/supervisor system was an excellent way to offer support and guidance throughout the two weeks.
The experience was invaluable and allowed me to realise that working in a city law firm was the right career path for me.
The Company
It was well structured. A timetable was prepared with various talks from departments and our schedule for the week, including the socials that were planned for the week.
The culture of the firm was fantastic.
The partners/associates/HR really paid an interest and spent time getting to know us.
Working for two weeks with the firm offered the perfect insight into what life at Stephenson Harwood may be like, allowing us to see and experience, to an extent, what the trainees did on a day-to-day basis.
Working with Stephenson Harwood for two weeks allowed me to witness the fantastic firm culture, where trainees are encouraged to have as much as a life outside of work as they 'inside'.
It was hard for trainees/supervisors to give in-depth, intricate work - due to our lack of background - but what we were given on a day-to-day basis was interesting and stimulating nonetheless.
Everything Else
There were two socials on thursday nights of both weeks, and lunches were offered throughout the week as well.
